Pain Is Ur Friend

We all hate pain, I do too but sometimes it is inevitable and very useful. Pain gives us an alert that something is wrong. A man who does not experience any pain whatsoever might be on his way to the grave and not even know. No wonder we hear stories of people who are one minute hearty and healthy and the next minute they slump and die. Autopsy might reveal a disease which was there all the while but because there was no pain, he THOUGHT he was okay.

Physical Pain is a red alert to tell us something is wrong with our body. It may be telling us there is a malfunction, a disturbance or simply a need to rest. There have been times when I feel body pains and a good rest will take care of it. Many of us will never go to a hospital for checkup unless we feel pain because pain forces us to stop living in denial and become responsible. Pain is a friend to a pregnant woman because as soon as the pain comes, it shows the child is coming. The more the pain, the more the strength available to the woman to push out the child. When I was delivering my first child. It got to a stage that I got tired and almost slept off because of the fatigue of overworking my body and it seemed the baby just refused to come out. I was so weak and I felt like just sleeping but as soon as I try to relax the waves of pain comes and I didn’t have a choice but to start pushing again until the baby popped out. If I had felt no pain I would have fainted.

The same way Physical pain is a pointer to something being wrong with our physical body is the same way EMOTIONAL PAIN shows something is wrong. One of the main way emotional pain surfaces is when you never get satisfied with anything, nothing makes you happy. You drink, smoke, party, club, yet you are not having fun within. You sleep with that boy or girl yet you pull back your underwear feeling worse than when you remove it. Lack of emotional satisfaction or fulfillment in your soul is a NEED for TREATMENT. That Treatment is JESUS. He is the only one that can satisfy you. So do you have some emotional pain, the answer is Jesus and he doesn’t just satisfy your need. He is able to save you SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY.    1 Thess 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you are the one I described why don’t you join me by saying this prayer with your heart
Lord Jesus
I believe you are the Son of God and you died and rose for my sins.
Without you I have felt so empty
Come into my life as my Lord, Saviour, Lover, Friend.
I accept you whole heartedly. Fill me with your Holy Spirit
